Frequently Asked Questions

Indy Scream Park is what happens when the best minds in the haunted house industry come together in the Indianapolis, Indiana metro area to produce a premier haunted house experience.

Located on over 100 acres between Pendleton, Indiana and Anderson, Indiana, just minutes from Indianapolis, Indy Scream Park is a Halloween horror park event like no other.

Both cards and cash are accepted at the parking booth, box office, and customer service desk at the Monster Midway.

All other locations of our park are cashless and only accept credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. We offer a “cash-to-card” service at the customer service desk in the Monster Midway, where guests can convert cash into a payment card that can be used throughout the park.

There are two ways to purchase tickets:

  • Tickets may be purchased on the tickets page of our website. The cheapest tickets will always be found on the tickets page of our website.
  • You may purchase tickets on site at the box office. Please note tickets purchased at the box office are $6 more than the online ticket price.

There are three ways to access your tickets after purchase:

  • Log in to the Showclix website to access your tickets.
  • Bring your ID to the box office upon arrival so we can assist you to retrieve your tickets.
  • Contact customer support by submitting a contact form.

We offer a pick up and drop off area near the entrance of the park. Please notify the parking staff if you are dropping off or picking up and do not intend to park, so you may be directed to the pick up and drop off area. Vehicles and drivers which are picking up and dropping off are not required to pay for parking or admission as long as they do not park at our facility.

We do not offer any discounts tailored to a specific vocation, but we do offer discounts through our email newsletter which you can sign up for here.

Purchasing a ticket to Indy Scream Park is the same as purchasing a ticket to a concert or event. All sales are final. We do not issue refunds on any tickets or purchases.

The ticket transfer window ends 24 hours before the start of the event. Tickets may not be transferred within 24 hours of the start of the event. Ticket transfers are subject to a $5 per ticket transfer fee (plus tax), as well as any price difference between the original amount paid and the price for the same ticket type on the new day of attendance.

The price difference at the time of transfer will be calculated as:

The ticket price listed on the website on the new day of attendance

minus

The original amount paid.

A refund will not be issued if the original ticket price is higher than the ticket price for the new day of attendance, nor will this amount be applied to the $5 per ticket transfer fee.

The ticket transfer fee is not refundable. If your new date of attendance happens to be cancelled, you will receive a full refund of your original purchase price but you will not receive a refund of the transfer fee.

Guests must transfer their ticket to a new date. Tickets transfers cannot be “held” for a future, unselected date.

TO INITIATE A TICKET TRANSFER:

Showclix ticketing support staff are available during normal park operating hours, and may not be available outside of normal park operating hours.

Yes. Tickets are the same price whether you visit all of the attractions or not.

Guests are not allowed to touch the monsters, props, or scenes inside of our haunted house attractions.

The monsters inside of our haunted house attractions do not touch you, but they do get very close. Occasionally, you may brush up against them or their weapons.

However, a few of our attractions are “interactive”. Visitors entering our interactive attractions will be faced with an important decision:

  • Should you enter and simply watch the action?
  • Or should you “mark” yourself to truly interact with the creatures within?

Those who opt-in for a truly interactive experience may be grabbed, held back, sent into hidden rooms, removed from their group or even forced to remain…

Choose wisely.

(Customers must be at least 18 years old to “mark” themselves)

Much of our facility is outdoors with unpaved terrain, including grassy and rocky areas.

All three of the indoor haunted attractions are wheelchair accessible, but the terrain leading to and from the indoor haunted attractions is outdoors and uneven in sections.

The Monster Midway is also located outdoors and has sections of uneven terrain.

All of the outdoor attractions, including Zombie Paintball Assault, are not wheelchair accessible due to uneven terrain and natural hazards.

Indy Scream Park is recommended for adults and teens, but younger children may attend if parents choose to bring them.

Carrying infants or children through our haunted house attractions is NOT recommended. There are no special prices for infants or children and no refunds if anyone decides not to finish.

Please note there are several emergency exits throughout each attraction in case anyone gets too scared to continue.

No.

Zombie Paintball Assault requires an additional ticket that may be purchased online or at the facility.

Zombie Paintball Assault tickets are limited and may sell out.

We are open during the fall season each year. Visit our park hours page for more information on exact dates and hours.

We are one of the largest independent haunted house scream parks in the country, so you should expect the longest lines on Fridays and Saturdays.

Regardless of the night, we highly recommend purchasing a VIP Fast Pass to avoid long waits in line. By purchasing a VIP Fast Pass you can skip the General Admission line once per attraction by using the Fast Pass lane.

Or, you can skip both the General Admission line and VIP Fast Pass lane and go directly into the attraction with NO WAIT by purchasing the SUPER VIP Fast Pass.

Buy your VIP Fast Pass or SUPER VIP Fast Pass through the Indy Scream Park online tickets page.

Indy Scream Park offers two distinct parking options, each with its own location within the parking area:

Preferred parking is $12 per vehicle (including tax) and includes all-day parking for one vehicle in the parking areas closer to the park entrance. By choosing preferred parking, visitors enjoy the convenience of parking closer to the park’s entrance and attractions. This option is ideal for those looking for quicker and easier access to the park.

Standard parking is $8 per vehicle (including tax) and includes all-day parking for one vehicle in the parking areas farther from the park entrance. Standard parking is a cost-effective option, making it suitable for visitors who don’t mind a slightly longer walk to the park’s entrance.

The key difference between preferred and standard parking at Indy Scream Park is the location within the parking area. Preferred parking places your vehicle closer to the park entrance, while standard parking is located farther from the park entrance, which may require a bit more walking. Your choice between these options depends on your preference for convenience and budget considerations during your visit to Indy Scream Park.

You can pre-purchase a parking pass through the Indy Scream Park tickets page or you can pay when you arrive.

The General Admission ticket includes unlimited access to all haunted attractions (excluding Zombie Paintball Assault).

The VIP Fast Pass allows you to skip the General Admission line and use the Fast Pass lane once per attraction (excluding Zombie Paintball Assault).

The Super VIP Fast Pass includes UNLIMITED NO WAIT access to every attraction (excluding Zombie Paintball Assault), with a tour guide and a $20 gift shop apparel credit. Please note that SUPER VIP Fast Pass groups of less than 12 customers may share a tour guide with another SUPER VIP Fast Pass group. Please note that SUPER VIP Fast Pass customers must bring their credit card and ID to the box office on the night of the event to pick up their ticket.

NOTE: SUPER VIP Fast Pass customers must bring their credit card and ID to the box office on the night of the event to pick up their tickets.

When purchasing your admission ticket, you may select either the:

– General Admission ticket

– General Admission ticket + VIP Fast Pass ticket

– General Admission ticket + SUPER VIP Fast Pass

All of the above ticket options include General Admission to the park.

Group discount tickets may be purchased online through the group sales page or the Indy Scream Park Haunted House online ticket page.

Group discount tickets are only available online and are not available at the box office.

  • When possible, go through the attraction with the shortest waiting line.
  • Visit all of the attractions at least once before re-visiting an attraction a second time.
